I think that the servicemen and women in the United States Military are heroes. I believe that we take the losses and sacrifices these men and women have made for granted. Warfare nowadays is very different from other wars. Our servicemen are fighting a war that is draining; numerous tours, long tours, language barriers, un-identified enemies, and facing horrible conditions that include destructive weaponry, and many severe injuries. I think that these men and women deserve more than what they are getting. They volunteer their lives for the very freedom we live by in the United States. Perhaps our country can do more for them while they are overseas, and more for when they return to civilian life. It is a tough job out there, some go without a shower for a week. We don't see the horrors of war because the media senors it. American soldiers protect our country.
